Work with VEDA

VEDA looks things up, explains the portal and proposes administrative changes that you confirm. It never decides or changes anything itself.

Where to find it: Sidebar → VEDA, and the patient's VEDA tab

Steps

  1. Open VEDA in the sidebar. Ask about your schedule, patients and settings, or how a screen works, for example “Who is booked tomorrow?” or “Where do I change my invoice details?”
  2. Open a patient's VEDA tab to ask about that patient's file. VEDA cites the curated library and declines clinical decisions.
  3. When VEDA proposes a change, it shows a confirmation card. Only your confirmation performs it, through the same checks as a manual action.
  4. It can propose appointments, patient and stock changes, operational messages, draft invoices and some practice settings.
  5. Each plan includes a monthly number of VEDA requests, shared by the whole practice. The dashboard shows how many are used.

Good to know

VEDA never changes anything clinical, deletes patients, touches billing, AI switches, privacy, legal documents, consent wording, team members or passwords. For those it points to the screen. VEDA declines diagnosis, prescriptions and safety judgments; those remain your clinical judgment.
